The teacher is responsible for Lower Secondary/Cambridge IGCSE/IBDP curriculum for various Grade levels as assigned by the Principals and timetabled by the school. He/she works as part of a curriculum team to provide effective teaching and learning programmes focused on improving student engagement and achievement in all the Learning Areas.
The teacher actively promotes and reinforces the NPSI Vision and Mission and exhibits professional responsibility at all times. He/she is familiar with NPSI policies and procedures, is a positive and professional role model, an expert in their subject area and contributes to the positive reputation of the school through their professional relationships with students, parents and the wider community.

There is an expectation that all Primary Teachers behave in a professional and positive manner and represent role models within the school. They will be familiar with NPSI policies and procedures and will always actively promote and reinforce the NPSI Vision and Mission.
In addition to pastoral duties, the class teacher is responsible for curating, delivering, and assessing the curriculum across the Primary School, as assigned by the Principal, and timetabled by the school. He/she works as part of a curriculum team to provide effective teaching and learning programmes focused on improving student engagement and achievement in one or more curriculum specialisms. An expert in their subject area they will contribute to the positive reputation of the school through their professional relationships with students, parents, and the wider community. As a Homeroom Teacher they will provide a safe and nurturing learning environment to support the social, emotional and development of those in their care.
At all times, the teacher should follow the school handbook which details expectations on all aspects of their responsibilities, teaching role and wider conduct as a teacher within NPS International School.
